About IAOH Vadodara :- Indian Association of Occupational Health, Vadodara (IAOH Vadodara) is a Non Profit making Organization with an objective to promote Occupational Health & Safety in Gujarat. Affiliated to IAOH Headquarters, the Vadodara branch has been a very active and dynamic body which conducts a variety of courses, seminars and programmes in field of Occupational Health for benefit of local Industries. Since 2004,The Branch has conducted Forty Nine (49) batches of Medical Assistant course (MACOHC) and trained a 997 personnel from more than 215 industries of Gujarat. Considering the wide spectrum of activities conducted by IAOH Vadodara was awarded four times the Best IAOH Branch at National Level in the years 2004,2009, 2013 and 2017. IAOH Vadodara has organized Four National Conferences ( 1955, 1968, 1992, 2011) in Occupational Health since it”s inception in 1968. The last one-61 st National Conference on Occupational Health was organized in collaboration with Directorate of Industrial Health & Safety in February 2011 at GSFC Auditorium, Vadodara. IAOH Vadodara has to it”s credit – Three State Level Conferences namely GUJPARAMED 2015 , GUJCON 2016 and GUJCON 2022 in last seven years. On 4 th June 2017, IAOH Vadodara shifted its premises to it”s own acquired commercial premises at 310 Labh Buisness Hub on Gorwa Karodiya Road,Vadodara. IAOH Vadodara continues it”s journey to promote Occupational Health in Gujarat thereby promoting productivity and Good Health !

Objectives:

• 1)  To educate and update knowledge of Employees about Basic First AID
• 2)  To render knowledge of Employees about application of First AID concepts and it”s application at work place during times of accident and injury

About First AID Training Programmes
The contents of First Aid training are-

• General approach to First Aid- Need & Significance
• Human Body- Anatomy and Physiology
• Burns and scald
• Various types of Wounds, bleeding and shock
• Fracture and dislocation
• Poisoning, dog bite, snake bite
• Managing Various conditions- Drowning, Eye injuries, Heat stroke, exhaustion, Sprain
• Dressings
• Stretcher Excercise
• Heart Attack
• CPR training on Mannequin
  ** Program evaluation by MCQ paper

Practical Demonstrations :-

Duration of First AID Trainings:- Two days ( 16 hours ) time : 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

Proposed Target Audience: Batch of 30 (Thirty) employees only

Professional Fees:- Rs 54000/- (Fifty four thousand ) for One batch of not more than 30 participants

* Fees include :- Training, certificate fees , Pen+Pad+File , and Training Material Note; If a Host Industry gives more than four Trainings in a calendar year,10% Discount rate can be negotiated with provision of 50 % of the Total amount negotiated given as Advance **Certificates of J K Occupational Health Centre shall be issued after successful participation by Attending participants. JK OHC is recognized by Gujarat Government for First AID training under 45 (3) of Indian factories Act by Govt Resolution No : FCA2003-3156-M(3)dated 2-8-2004

Terms & Conditions:-

• IAOH, Vadodara will make all arrangements of Faculty for the topics of training identified by Industry. IAOH Vadodara will have the sole discretion to depute the faculty for an allotted First AID trainings topic.
• Venue & Transportation/Conveyance will be have to arranged by Host Industry. Host Industry will have to make arrangements of venue/training gadgets (audiovisual/laptop) and all other logistics. Host Industry shall have to share all information about attending participants ( Passport size photos, Mobile number,etc)
• IAOH Vadodara can offer it”s premises for First AID Training at a negotiable rate for two days. IAOH Vadodara shall provide experienced and competent First AID Trainers as per the technical requirements of the Industry.
• The host industry/Association shall give a written work order to IAOH Vadodara. Training will start within 7 to 15 days after getting a written work order.
• All payments MUST be in form of ON PAR cheque payable in the name of “IAOH Vadodara” and be paid within two weeks of completion of programme.
• Host Industry shall have the discretion to give feedback about quality of First AID Training after completion of the training. Certificate shall be issued only after successful completion of training to those participants attending all sessions of the first AID Training .
• IAOH Vadodara will have the right to cancel or postpone the programme for any unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances or the acts of nature.
